December tends to be a very busy time in life overall; so often the garden tends to be overlooked. Hopefully your work leading up to now will be paying off, and those summer get-togethers outdoors will see you enjoying the fruits of your labour!
Things are usually heating up around now; so ensure things are getting adequate water, and prepare to provide shelter/shade for your vegies. If you haven't yet applied mulch, it's time to do so.
Come and see us if you need shadecloth (we stock horticultural grade white 50% and 70%). On hot days use what you have - beach umbrellas, old sheets etc. - anything to keep you plants sheltered.
