Greener Garden Festival 3rd September

SPRING is almost upon us, and we're excited to be celebrating the start of spring AND the official launch of The Harvest Club program on Saturday, 3rd September.

We are thrilled to have ABC radio gardening personality Sabrina Hahn giving a talk late morning (approx. 11am - watch this space for confirmation of time), Permaculture expert Charles Otway at 1pm, and 6PR radio gardening personality Sue McDougall giving a talk at 2pm. 

We will round off the day with Sue, Charles and a number of our other experts hosting a Q&A Panel at 3pm – so bring along your garden questions!

There will be a number of Perth-based experts here throughout the day providing information and with displays on responsible fertiliser use, home composting systems, worm farms, grey water re-use, keeping chickens, garden design and maintenance systems, water wise lawns, growing & using herbs, etc. - presenting lots of ideas and products for living a more sustainable lifestyle.

Swan Districts Gymnastics are holding a fundraising sausage sizzle (so bring along some cash, grab a banger in a bun and support them!) and we’re having Old MacDonald’s Farm animals here from 1pm - 3pm for the kids.

It will be a great opportunity for the Harvest Club participants to meet each other, and other gardeners from all over Perth who will no doubt be interested in their progress throughout the program.

The Festival day will run from 10 - 4pm and is FREE.    

Green Life Soil Co's normal business hours are 8.30 - 5pm.  

Parking may be limited (if necessary, please park safely along Farrall Road and be watchful of fast moving traffic) - but we'd love to see you on the day @ The Green Life Soil Co.
